ZapZap API updates and release notes

What changed in the dashboard, no fluff: how it was before, how it works now and what you gain. The most recent come first.

A dashboard in Portuguese, English and Spanish

Use ZapZap in the language your team speaks, picked with a search.

    Before:
The dashboard was available only in Portuguese.
    Now:
The app now speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish. You pick the language from a selector with search, and ZapZap remembers your choice. Teams in other countries can operate without a parallel translation.

A customer portal designed for the phone

Home, Performance, People, Check and Help, in plain language for non-technical people.

    Before:
The portal had only two tabs, Confirm sales and Recent leads.
    Now:
The portal now has five direct screens: Home, Performance, People, Check and Help. The customer reconnects the number by code or QR, always finds the portal link at hand and opens the chat on WhatsApp with a ready message. Performance shows results with simple charts, and the chat marks the origin of each message: phone, dashboard, API, flow, AI, campaign, scheduled, warm-up or system.

    Automatic reconnection after payment

Pay the balance and the number comes back on its own, with no new QR code.

    Before:
After a suspension for low balance, payment reactivated the account, but the number came back disconnected and you had to scan the QR code again.
    Now:
When payment arrives, ZapZap tries to reconnect the number by itself. If the session is still valid, it comes back online with no action from you. Only when the session has truly expired do we ask for a new QR code.

An OpenAPI specification for the ZapZap API

Import the whole API into Postman, Insomnia or your code generator.

    Now:
The OpenAPI 3.1 specification of the public API is available in JSON and YAML. You import the file into Postman, Insomnia or SDK generators and get every endpoint, parameter and response described, always aligned with the documentation.

Schedule a campaign to start at the right date and time

Leave the campaign ready and pick the day and time when sending begins.

    Now:
On the campaign screen, the Schedule button sets a single date and time for sending to begin. The header shows the send time and lets you cancel the schedule, and the campaign goes back to a draft. If the automatic start fails, the campaign returns to draft and the problem is recorded.

Warm-up and campaigns start working together

The sending limit follows the warm-up phase, and a number that dropped climbs back gradually.

    Before:
A number phase counted only from the start of warm-up, so a drop did not move it back, and the sending limit came from an age-based rule, separate from warm-up and computed only for the main number.
    Now:
Warm-up age now counts from the last disconnection, so after a drop the number climbs through the phases again calmly. With warm-up on, the sending limit now derives from the warm-up phase and adds up the real capacity of every number in the family, instead of multiplying the limit of just one.

Chat shows which ad each lead came from

See in the list and in the conversation who arrived through an ad, with the creative and the time to first contact.

    Before:
The system already stored the lead ad origin, but the chat showed none of it.
    Now:
The conversation now has a Came from an ad badge, and the details panel shows the creative, the ad text, how long the person took from click to message and the origin link. The conversation list gets the ad badge and an Ads filter.

Stable sessions, no unexpected logouts across devices

Signing in on more than one device or tab no longer knocks the other sessions out.

    Before:
Each user had a single session that was renewed on every refresh, so opening the dashboard on another tab or device could end the session that was already open.
    Now:
Each device now has its own session. Signing out on one device ends only that one, and concurrent renewals from tabs open at the same time no longer cause errors. When you change your password or cancel the account, every session is ended for safety.

Reliable webhooks: signature and delivery history

Confirm each event came from ZapZap and see what was delivered, with status and attempt.

    Before:
People receiving the webhook had no way to prove a call came from ZapZap, and there was nowhere to see deliveries and failures.
    Now:
Every delivery carries an HMAC signature per number, in the style used by large payment platforms, with an identifier and a timestamp for you to verify and avoid duplicates. If your server fails, ZapZap retries with growing intervals, and each retry is re-signed with a new timestamp. The Deliveries tab shows the latest deliveries, with event, HTTP status, time and attempt number.

A customer portal with your brand

Give your end customer a dashboard of their own, with your visual identity, without needing a ZapZap account.

    Now:
The Portal is an external area you share with the customer whose WhatsApp you run. They sign in by link or by number and password, see leads, identified sales and a summary with charts, confirm sales and can reconnect the number by QR code. The brand is yours: name, logo, accent color and the option to remove Powered by ZapZap.

    Video tutorials inside the dashboard

Learn each screen with videos by category, watched markers and help in the right place.

    Now:
The Tutorials area gathers videos by category, with a player inside the dashboard and markers for what you have already watched. Each screen has a help button that opens related videos in a floating window, and How to use finds the right video for the question of the moment.

Tracking with cost per ad and sales verification

See what each ad costs, qualify leads and bookings automatically and confirm sales before sending them to Meta.

    Now:
The campaigns screen now shows the cost of each ad, so you know what to cut. Conversation analysis understands text, audio and images and sends booking and qualified-lead events on its own. A sale is only sent after your confirmation, through a verification queue with the timeline of the negotiation, or through the API when your system knows the payment landed.
