Prorated refund when you delete a number
Paid days you did not use go back to your balance when you delete a number.
Create my accountHow it was before
A refund depended on a fixed window of hours after creation. After that window, deleting a number returned nothing, even with paid days left.
How it works now
When you delete a number, the dashboard calculates how many days of the paid period were not used and returns that amount to your balance. The entry appears in your statement as a refund. The activation fee is not refunded.
What you gain
- You only pay for the days the number existed
- The refunded amount shows in your statement
- Calculated in proportion to the days left in the period
Before
A refund only existed inside a fixed window of hours after the number was created.
Now
- The refunded amount is proportional to the unused days until the next billing date
- The calculation uses the last payment for that number
- The refund goes to your balance and appears in your statement
What does not come back
The activation fee charged at creation is not refunded.
