Some WhatsApp Business numbers ask for a passkey when connecting, and then the QR code doesn't finish. In those cases, the ZapZap Connect extension connects the number from your browser and securely migrates the session to your instance.
ZapZap Connect extension
Chrome, Edge and Brave. Works only on the WhatsApp Web screen.
Download and unzip the extension
Click the download button above and unzip the .zip file into a folder you won't delete (it needs to stay on your computer while you use the extension).
Open your browser's extensions
In Chrome, Edge or Brave, go to chrome://extensions in the address bar and turn on "Developer mode" in the top right corner.
Load the extension
Click "Load unpacked" and select the folder you unzipped. The ZapZap Connect extension will appear in the list.
Generate the code in the ZapZap dashboard
In ZapZap, open the instance you want to connect, click "Connect with passkey" and generate the connection code. It's valid for 10 minutes.
Connect the number on WhatsApp Web
Open WhatsApp Web, connect the number as usual and complete the passkey if Meta asks for it. Wait for the conversations to load.
Open WhatsApp WebPaste the code into the extension
Still on WhatsApp Web, open the ZapZap Connect extension, paste the connection code and click "Connect instance". Done, the session migrates to ZapZap.
The connection happens directly between your browser and ZapZap. Your WhatsApp credentials aren't shared with third parties, and the connection code is single-use and expires on its own. You can remove the extension from your browser as soon as you finish connecting.
